TORNADOES WHIRLWIND PASS THE KEYSTONE HEIGHTS INDIANS FOR THE FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON

Good Evening Tornado Nation and Fans, this is Mr. Friday Night David Rodgers Voice and Play by Play Announcer for your Bradford Tornadoes bringing you this Edition of the WEAG Eagle Country 106.3 Blog for Tornado Football 2018.

The Tornadoes scored the first points of the game and then after Keystone Heights Indians tied the score in the early 3rd Quarter the Tornadoes bowed up and put the game out of reach as they took over and outmanned the Indians and finally got their first win of the year as they cruised 28-14 at David Hurse Stadium in Starke, Florida.

Bradford scored the first TD of the night in the first quarter on a 20 yard TD run from Sophomore QB Pedro Carter and with a Nedro Davis PAT the Tornadoes were leading 7-0 and after trading off possessions the Tornadoes took a 7-0 lead into the half and then Keystone after a halted Bradford opening 3rd quarter drive Keystone took the ball and drove it into Tornado Territory and JR Jason Channell took the ball of right side and scored on a 34 yard TD Run to tie the score at 7 and then the Tornadoes Special Teams come into action as the Indian Punter Anthony Briseno bobbled the snap and Adonte Balfour scooped up the ball on the right hash and took it down the sideline for a 37yard TD and just like that the Tornadoes were up 13-7 and the PAT was no good. The next score for the Tornadoes had Carter throw the ball 35 yards to Kam Thomas as he fell and was laying in the end zone as 2 Indian Defenders batted the ball up and fell into the arms of Thomas and with a 2 Point Conversion from Eric Smith and the Tornadoes led 21-7 and took over the game at that point as SR RB Jeremiah Vaughan scored on a 5 yard run and then Keystone with very little time added a 1 Yard TD Run from JR RB Tyler Friedelin to make the score 28-14.

Great Win for the Tornadoes and are 1-2 on this young season and now the Tornadoes will need to keep the momentum going as the winless Santa Fe Raiders come into David Hurse Stadium to knock off our beloved Tornadoes Friday Night September 14th.
