Santa Fe Raiders Upset the Tornadoes

Good Evening Tornado Nation and Fans, this is Mr. Friday Night David Rodgers Voice and Play by Play Announcer for your Bradford Tornadoes bringing you this Edition of the WEAG Eagle Country 106.3 Blog for Tornado Football 2018.

The Santa Fe Raiders came into David Hurse Stadium in Starke with 1 win and so did the Tornadoes but at the end of the night and this game the Tornadoes took an upset loss to the Raiders 14-7 and has put the Tornadoes in a real hole for trying to make the State Playoffs for the 2018 Football Season.

The Santa Fe Raiders came into this game with a great game plan and at times it seemed like they had our playbook on their sidelines as we could never get anything going  on offense and when we were driving to get back into this game we mustered up some kind of penalties and loss of yardage plays and wind up costing Bradford that win and as stated before it has put us in a great big hold for the State Playoff Race.

SR QB Deron Reid a Dual Threat Trigger Man showed his speed and elusiveness as he scampered on Touchdown Runs of 75 yards and 60 yards and that was all that was needed as the Raider Defense came to play and showed a bend but do not break defense and held Bradford’s Offense to 7 points  SR RB Jeremiah Vaughan scored the lone points for the Tornadoes on an 8 yard Touchdown Run and SOPH RB Eric Smith gained 100 yards and between Soph QB Pedro Carter and SR QB Adrian Ciena only had 35 yards total passing and the Raider Defense was on mark all night as they had 14 plays for loss yardage and only 4 of 13 3rd attempts and had to gain 10 yards or more on 8 of those third down plays. As the offense was stifled all night the defense played very well only holding Santa Fe to 14 Points and the charge was led by SR Nose Guard Jacquez Mosley was anchoring down the defense.

Now the Tornadoes will have to get themselves back in the Playoff Race by going on the rad for the next 3 games starting next Friday Night as they will travel 40 miles west southwest to Fort White to take on the 3-1 Fort White Indians. Please come out and support you Tornadoes Live but if you can’t go live to the game make sure you tune into FB Live with Mr. Friday Night David Rodgers Voice of The Bradford Tornadoes and Play By Play Man and Big Kevin Howe Color Commentator and the States Best Producing Team Chuck Kramer, Lyn Veliz and Mary Kramer you can catch all the live action with the Pregame Show at 715 and Kickoff at 730 right here on WEAG Eagle Country 106.3
